WFA International is pleased to announce that Fouzia Madhouni has been added to the WFA International Board representing women’s football in Morocco   Fouzia is the Founder and President of We Can Morocco, an organization that seeks to unleash girls’ potential through American Football. Fouzia also helped start the first American Football Academy in Morocco where she is currently a coach.   Through football, Fouzia has reached countless young women in rural and urban areas where she teaches them English and encourages them to break barriers and live out their dreams.
“We are honored to have such an amazing visionary work with us to help grow women’s football in Morocco,” stated Jeff King, WFA International Director. “Football is a universal language and those who play it understand the powerful effects it can have on self-esteem and confidence. Fouzia has brought more than just football to young women, she’s given them a tool to have the courage to become whatever they choose to be in life.”
Fouzia will work with WFA International teams and players to host a game and clinic in Morocco.
