The WFA is the largest and most competitive women’s tackle football league in the world. Our sponsors share the same vision of growth for girls and women athletes competing in any sport they choose to pursue. Football is a multi-billion dollar industry that for over a hundred years has primarily been exclusive to males. With the recent expansion of women coaches in the NFL, the opportunity and exposure for women playing and coaching tackle football has never been bigger. Hundreds of media outlets have written articles about the WFA in the past year including ESPN, USA Today, Sports Illustrated, Washington Post, and New York Times, reaching millions of readers. Over 800,000 fans tuned into the 2023 Games of the Week broadcasted on the Women’s Sports Network and 180,000 watched the 2023 WFA Pro National Championship on ESPN2. In addition to this coverage, the WFA’s recent national television contract with ESPN provides another opportunity for WFA sponsors to be highlighted during games of the week and the National Championship.
