February 7, 2020 (Exeter, Ca) – The Women’s Football Alliance is proud to announce Wilson as the official football of the WFA. The announcement comes as part of a formal partnership between Wilson and the WFA.
With the 11th
season of the WFA set to kick off in 2 months, the WFA has received an
incredible amount of attention thanks to WFA veteran Katie Sowers becoming the
first female to coach in a Superbowl. This national notice, coupled with the
league’s recent television network contract with Eleven Sports, has the WFA set
to break through as a major name in women’s sports. The partnership with Wilson signals yet
another major brand supporting women’s football, adding to the growing list of
corporations backing WFA athletes.
“We are proud to have the WFA logo on every Wilson football,” stated
Lisa King, WFA Commissioner, “but we are
even more excited that the company trusted by NCAA and NFL for their game
balls, is now officially supporting our teams and players.”

the official game ball for the recent Superbowl. In addition to professional
