WFA FLAG

The Women’s Football Alliance (WFA), the largest, longest-running, and most competitive women’s football league in the world, is proud to announce the addition of the WFA Flag Pr National Tour. This groundbreaking expansion began in 2025 with 58 WFA teams which culminated in a 16-team National Championship Tournament at the prestigious Tom Benson Pro Football Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

The National Championship Game will be broadcasted on AWSN, with the championship team earning a $10,000 prize. This championship will be part of the largest women’s football National Championship event in the world, featuring both flag and tackle competitions. The action-packed weekend will also host the WFA Pro, Division 2, and Division 3 National Championship Games, as well as the highly anticipated WFA All-American Game, where 100 of the top women’s tackle football players from 58 teams will showcase their elite talent. The WFA Pro National Championship Game will be nationally televised on ESPN2.

The National Championship weekend will take place annually in July, bringing together the best teams and athletes for an unforgettable showcase of talent and competition.

  • Can other tournaments count for Points?

    Yes. To have the WFA Sanction a Tournament, contact info@WFAProFootball.com

  • Do you have to be a WFA Tackle Team to Play?

    No. Any 7v7 women's flag team is eligible to compete in the National Flag Tour.

  • What Format Does WFA Flag Play?

    The WFA Flag Tour is a 7v7 noncontact format. The National Championship Game uses USA Flag 7v7 Noncontact rules. 

  • Is there a cost to enter the WFA Flag Pro Tour?

    There is no fee to join and begin to qualify and earn points for National Tour. 

  • What other benefits do WFA Flag Teams have?

    WFA Flag Teams will receive many of the benefits that tackle teams receive including access to WFA Brand Uniform pricing, marketing on WFA website, as well as support and promotion from the WFA.  Players will also be eligible for league awards announced at the National Championship in Canton.
