Goetz delivered one of the most complete seasons in the WFA, leading her team to another undefeated regular season. She led the league with six interceptions while also throwing for 802 yards and accounting for 15 total touchdowns.
AMERICAN CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: SAM GORDON, SALT LAKE Wildcats
Gordon led the league with 779 rushing yards and scored nine rushing touchdowns, consistently producing explosive plays and serving as the driving force behind one of the conference’s most dangerous offenses. Her dominance on the ground led Salt Lake to it’s second straight undefeated regular season.
AMERICAN CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: BRITT PETERSON, MINNESOTA VIXEN
The definition of a true weapon, Peterson anchored one of the WFA’s top defenses, recording 34 tackles, one interception, two-and-a-half sacks, and a punt return touchdown. Her dominance in the air, preventing the top offenses from a successful passing attack has helped lead the Vixen to another Championship Season.
AMERICAN CONFERENCE COACH OF THE YEAR: CONNOR JO LEWIS, MInnesota Vixen
Under Coach Lewis’s leadership, the Vixen captured the American Conference Championship while averaging an impressive 43 points per game while allowing 10 pts per game, establishing themselves as one of the premier teams in the Women’s Football Alliance.
WFA OVERALL MVP, AMANDA CONGIALDI, DC DIVAS
Congialdi led the league with 1,603 passing yards while completing 68 percent of her passes, throwing for 18 touchdowns with a passer rating of 116. She also added 210 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns, demonstrating remarkable leadership and elite performance throughout the season.
NATIONAL CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Ellisyn Knapo, PITTSBURGH PASSION
Knapo rushed for 738 yards and 8 touchdowns, leading the National Conference on the ground and helping propel the Passion to a championship season. Her leadership both on and off the field has been a major contributor to the Passion’s National Conference Championship Title.
NATIONAL CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: PASHA RIVERS, CINCINNATI COUGARS
Rivers led the entire Women’s Football Alliance Pro Division with 57 total tackles, serving as the cornerstone of one of the conference’s toughest and most physical defenses.
NATIONAL CONFERENCE COACH OF THE YEAR, LISA HORTON, PIttsburgh Passion
Former QB great, Coach Horton guided the Passion to the National Conference Championship while leading the league in total offensive yards averaging 415 Yards per game throughout the season.
