WFA Launches First-of-its-Kind Women’s National Flag Tour with $10,000 Grand Prize and Championship at the Pro Football Hall of Fame

Canton, Oh- The Women’s Football Alliance (WFA) — the leading women’s football league in the world — is proud to announce the official launch of the WFA National Flag Tour, the first-of-its-kind national flag football league exclusively for women.

With 50 tackle football teams across the United States and established leagues in 9 countries across 4 continents, the WFA has already built the most expansive and competitive women’s football platform in the world. Now, the league is expanding its reach and impact by introducing an elite-level flag football division, offering athletes a new path to compete at the highest level.

The inaugural WFA National Flag  Tour will run from August 2025 to February 2026, with teams earning points at events throughout the country. The top 16 teams will advance to the WFA National Flag Championship at the prestigious Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, where they will battle for the most coveted title in women’s flag football, a $10,000 Grand Prize, and free bids into major national tournaments.

The addition of the WFA Flag League continues the organization’s mission to elevate women’s football on every front — from grassroots to global competition.
