More than 2,500 Women’s Football Alliance athletes eligible to receive regenerative wellness technology through nationwide initiative
CANTON, Ohio, June 11, 2026 — The Women’s Football Alliance (WFA), the world’s largest and longest-running women’s professional tackle football league, today announced a new league-wide wellness initiative in partnership with DNA Vibe, Parity, the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine (NFIM), and the DNA Vibe SHINE Movement.
Through the initiative, every WFA athlete will be eligible to receive a complimentary DNA Vibe Jazz Band, a regenerative wearable designed to support circulation, mobility, recovery, pain relief, and overall wellness. The program represents one of the largest athlete wellness partnerships in the history of women’s tackle football.
The WFA is home to more than 2,500 athletes competing across the United States and internationally. As the league continues its unprecedented growth, the partnership reinforces a shared commitment to athlete health, performance, and long-term wellness.
“For more than 25 years, women in football have demonstrated extraordinary dedication to growing this sport,” said Lisa King, Commissioner of the Women’s Football Alliance. “Our athletes balance careers, families, and elite athletic competition while helping build the future of women’s football. This partnership provides valuable recovery and wellness resources to the women who continue to elevate our game.”
The program is made possible through the DNA Vibe SHINE Movement and NFIM, whose donors and philanthropic partners, including Giving Amplified, are funding the donation of Jazz Bands to participating WFA athletes.
The initiative will officially launch during the WFA regular season and continue throughout the league, providing athletes nationwide access to wellness technology that supports performance and recovery.
The announcement comes during a landmark period of growth for the WFA. The league recently established its national headquarters at the Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio, continues to expand internationally, and has secured major media partnerships that bring women’s football to audiences worldwide through ESPN, AWSN, Amazon Prime Video, and other national platforms.
The WFA National Championship Weekend will take place July 24-26, 2026, at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, featuring the WFA Division II National Championship, WFA Pro National Championship on ESPN2, the WFA World Bowl, and the WFA Flag National Championship with a $10,000 grand prize.
