In Her Own Words:
My name is Knengi, which people rarely say correctly, the K is silent… so it’s pronounced like Ninja with and E sound at the end.
I have played sports my whole life, basketball, track and field, ice hockey, baseball, softball and water polo, but football is the one that clicked. My great, great great uncle is in the college football Hall of Fame for his time playing at the University of Chicago under Coach Amos Alonzo Stagg — so football is definately in my blood.
From day one, football has been something that fuels me. I am lucky to be able to do what I love for work because I get to coach HS football as well as work for USA Football as a Master Trainer, helping coach coaches on how to make football safer for their players. I am excited to be playing on my 3rd National team and am looking forward to taking the field and helping my team compete to win a 3rd gold medal for the USA.
