The WFA is pleased to announce the return of their weekly show, “Road to Canton.” And this year, it’s packed more talent. The Road to Canton premiered in 2021, after the WFA signed their first national television deal to broadcast 12 games on Direct TV and Roku. The show was created to bring fans the news from around the league and analyze key match-ups for the games of the week. Hosts Brian Sweeney, WFA National Championship ESPN Announcer, Emory Hunt, CBS Sports analyst, and Alex Westad gave fans an in depth look at each match-up, interviewing coaches and top players around the league. With tens of thousands of fans tuned in for the show each week, the ‘Road to Canton’ quickly became the most watched show on the For The Fans Channel. Its success was the catalyst for the WFA scoring over 150,000 fans watching WFA Games of the Week.
With the success of 2021, the WFA has expanded the show to include more personalities and talent. Not only will the show analyze upcoming match-ups, but it will also include two new segments, ‘Under Her Helmet’ and ‘Go Lois.’
